In a video conversation, Marcus Ruebsam from CibusCell and Martin Hennum from OHC discussed how AI and machine learning are already being applied in ongoing hydrogen projects.
Marcus explained how the hydrogen value chain is highly complex, involving multiple variables and simultaneous decisions, such as when to produce, store, or respond to demand fluctuations. Autonomous AI systems can help optimise these processes in ways that would be difficult to achieve manually, with the potential to reduce one of the key barriers in the industry: the cost of hydrogen.
